About Us
Little Toot Dolphin Adventure has been around since 1998 but our story spans back decades before. Our founder and captain Tim Harris’s love of the sea began while serving in the United States Coast Guard. Stationed in Sand Key, Clearwater, Tim fell in love with Clearwater’s picturesque sunsets and the water that gave the city its name.
It’s no secret that Clearwater has one of America’s best beaches. Animals seems to love it too since Clearwater is home to a wide range of Florida wildlife. Ospreys, manatees, and we can’t forget dolphins. There are so many opportunities to experience Florida’s natural beauty!
Tim was so in love with the area, he decided to stay. After leaving the Coast Guard, he got a small boat that had heart but needed a lot of love. With hard work and dedication, the Little Toot began service and has been chugging along for over 20 years.
For Captain Harris creating a tour boat company was a natural progression from serving our country at sea. He had always love boating, so sharing that love with locals and tourists from around the world was a perfect fit.

You’ll learn something new as your captain tells you interesting facts about dolphins and other Florida wildlife throughout the tour.
Our passengers love Little Toot Dolphin Adventure! Adults and children alike especially enjoy how close they can get to the dolphins swimming nearby. You won’t need binoculars to see any dolphins with us, you’ll be so close you can almost touch them (almost!). Dolphins love our boat because it creates huge wakes that playful dolphins can’t resist. Kick back and relax with a cold drink as you watch your new friends swimming alongside you.
